Process Overview
At Verlo, we have developed a concise and comprehensive franchise selection program to ensure you’re involved throughout the franchise selection process. We’ve organized this process into five key areas with action items summarized below for Verlo and our franchise candidates.
Approval normally takes between six and twelve weeks from receipt of your franchise application.
- Introduction: This begins when you contact us with your interest in owning a franchise, or send us a franchise application. We will conduct a prequalification with you and answer any questions you may have about the Verlo franchise opportunity.
- Qualification: At this stage we will conduct a phone interview with you, do the necessary credit and background checks and send you the Franchise Disclosure Document. We’ll also discuss with you your experience, skills, personality and geographic preference for your franchise.
- Discovery: In the Discovery phase we will move to a face-to-face comprehensive franchise meeting with you to review the franchise documents and answer any questions you may have. The goal is to ensure your understanding.
- Validation: To help you gain further knowledge of the mattress industry and Verlo program, we will schedule Verlo Mattress Factory Store visits for you. This will also give you an opportunity to review the Verlo franchise business model to confirm your interest and fit.
- Decision: You’ll attend a “Verlo Day” at our corporate offices in Wisconsin to meet members of the Verlo Mattress Factory Store management team and become oriented. We will conduct a final review of your dossier with you and answer any remaining questions. You will sign the franchise agreement and remit all initial fees, and we’ll start with you the process of site selection (if necessary) and grand opening!
